Circle Dance - Katy Kat's Method of Communication

Sometimes, when dealing with a deaf cat, you have to read their body language, instead of their meows.

For instance, Katy usually has two volumes - silent or ear splitting. Only on occasion does her "meow" sound like a normal cat's meow. In fact, we've talked to the neighbors about her meows, because she often sounds like we are torturing her (usually when she thinks we've left her alone in the house).

Instead...she communicates through body language.

Our favorite is what we call the "circle dance" - this little dance is done when she is hungry or is begging for treats. She always sits very prettily and waits for eye contact with us before she does her "circle dance". If we look away, she sits back down and waits for eye contact again.
